Chiruca Chelsea are a new Gore-Tex® lined leather waterproof country boots, made from top quality leather not only are they waterproof and breathable they are ultra stylish. The Gore-Tex lining is a material that makes sure the feet are not made wet by external water but still remain able to breathe. 

The GORE-TEX® membrane consists of a micro porous structure that contains more than 1,400 million microscopic pores per cm². These pores are approximately 20,000 times smaller than a drop of water, making it impossible for water to pass through the membrane.

BREATHABILITY. On the other hand, the pores of the membrane are 700 times bigger than a molecule of water vapour, which means that sweat can escape to the outside without affecting the waterproofing of the membrane. Preventing heat from accumulating keeps feet dry and warm

This makes the boots waterproof from the outside inwards and breathable from the inside allowing the feet to breathe as well as keeping the feet warm.

Care of your Chiruca Leather wellington boots

Chiruca leather wellington boots are made from the highest quality products. The inside of the wellington will look after itself however the outside Nubuck leather will need some care to maintain is high finish.  To maintain your leather wellington boots in good condition please follow the simple instructions below.

1. After use wash the outside of the boot with detergent free clean water. This is to maintain the smart outside finish

2. Occasionally apply a leather cream to the leather surface of the boot. This will maintain the leather in a supple condition and ensure the the Nubuck leather remains waterproof. Application of this can vary depending on the use that the boots are getting but as a general rule it is a good idea to apply this when the leather starts to lighten in colour.

This service is available to all parts of the United Kingdom. The parcel will be despatched via Royal Mail tracked or DPD using whichever service is most applicable for your location. Many parcels will arrive within 1 day however the service is not guaranteed.

Most of Mainland UK will receive their delivery within 2 days.

Offshore locations and the Highlands can take up to 5 days for the parcel to be delivered however this will vary depending on the delivery service to your remote location.

This service is available to most parts of the UK mainland. If this service appears as available in your checkout then the service is available to your postcode.

Orders must be placed before 4pm and delivery will occur on the next working day. Saturdays, Sundays and Bank Holidays are not classed as working days.

Example : order placed between Monday and Thursday will arrive next day so Monday arrives Tuesday, Tuesday arrives on Wednesday, Wednesday arrives Thursday, Thursday arrives Friday. Order placed on Friday will not arrive until Monday.

We do offer delivery to most parts of the World via air or road freight. Cost is based on volumetric weight so please enter the item that you require in to your basket and click on the shipping estimator. You should now see all options available with the expected delivery time. If your Country is not listed then we are sorry to say that we do not currently offer a service to your location. Do please remember that orders supplied outside of the EU will have the VAT removed from the product however you may be liable for import duty at your Countries rate.
