Returning A Parcel For Exchange Or Refund

 

The are 3 methods to send boots back for exchange or refund

 

Method 1 Swap It £5.99

To do this you will need to go back to www.easy-wellies.co.uk and purchase the boots that you require.  Continue through the checkout and on the delivery options page you will see Swap It.  Select this from the delivery options and proceed through the checkout.

 

You have now purchased two pairs of wellington boots, one pair at home and another pair that you have just purchased.  We send your new order out tonight, providing the order is placed before 4pm on working days.  The driver will deliver your parcel on the next working day, he does send an email in the morning between 8- 9:30am advising you of the delivery time. 

 

When the driver delivers he will leave your new wellington boots and at the same time he will collect the returning item(s).  The driver will have the returning labels and will apply theses to the parcel.  The returning order will arrive back with us on the following working day and the order is cancelled and refunded in full.  This includes the original delivery charge.   

 

Sadly this option is not available to all parts of the UK or for International deliveries.  If you do find that this option is not available to you then please do call us so that we can explain to you an alternative method using Collect plus.   

 

 

Please make sure that you do package the parcel as explained at the bottom of the page and please do enclose with the package your original invoice or a returns form that has been clearly marked with Swap IT.  This will speed up the refund process. 

 


 

Method 2 Collect Plus  £3.99

 

What is collect+

Collect+ have over 4500 local convenience stores that you can drop your returning item in to and they will return it to us within 3-5 days for refund or exchange

  • 3-5 Working day return service
  • Parcels can be dropped at local collect+ stores 7 days per week and during the evenings
  • The parcel is scanned and a receipt with a tracking code is created and handed to you
  • £50 liability cover for lost parcels.
  • Parcels must not exceed 10kg 

How to make a return

Collect+ have drop points in over 4500 stores that are mostly open until 7pm at night and 7 days per week.  This means you can return an item at a time or place that suits you.

All you need to do is visit collect+ by clicking the link below and creating a returns label for just £3.99.  You will get proof of posting, full tracking and up to £50 cover for your items

Method 3 DPD Returns Label  £6.99

 

With this method DPD will come and collect the returning parcel from your door.  All you need to do is click the link below which will take you to a product on our site.  Purchase the label as if you were purchasing a product.   Please remember to select the day that you would like the parcel collected on and please do not select the same day that you are purchasing the label.  When checking out please assume that the shipping address is the address that you want us to collect the parcel from.  

 

We will then book the collection for the day you specified and send you the information relating to the collection.  On the morning of the collection the driver will send you an email with a 1 hour collection slot so that you do not need to stay in all day.  When the driver arrives he will have the label to apply to the package and from this point the parcel is insured.  The returning parcel will arrive back with us on the following working day and we will notify you as soon as it is received.

How Should My Parcel Be Packaged

Returning parcels should be packaged so that the branded packaging is protected.  This can be as simple as a bin bag or a newspaper wrapped round the packaging and taped on.  Please find some images below which clearly show well packaged parcels and parcels that have arrived back with no packaging

The above are examples of well packaged parcels.  The sample on the right has used brown paper however some customers use newspaper which is a great way to recycle and works extremely well

 

How A Parcel Should Not Be Packaged

I am returning an item via Collect+ or the DPD label for exchange How long will it take
Returns and exchanges are dealt with within 48 hours although they would typically be dealt with within 24 hours
I am returning for a refund how long will this take before my money comes back
We process refunds the day after they are received back with us.  We notify you by email as soon as the refunded has been processed.  The amount of time that this can take to appear in your account can vary from 1 - 4 days
