Caring for you Hunter Boots
To ensure a long and healthy lifespan for your boots, wipe clean and leave to dry naturally away from direct sunlight or artificial heat sources. Only use cold, soapy water to clean the boots. Never use solvents. Never store boots whilst damp, folded or creased. Keep in a cool, dry location.
Occasionally, you may notice a white powdery "bloom" on your Hunter rubber wellington boots. This is because rubber is a natural product and in certain conditions, insoluble particles may rise to the surface. This is a common process, characteristic of high quality, natural rubber and nothing to worry about. This process does not affect the performance or durability of your boots. A pristine finish and shine is easily restored with regular use of Hunter Boot Buffer
Hunter Balmoral Heavy Use Wellington Boots
Hunter Balmoral Wellington boots are classed as a heavy duty working wellington boot and are suitable for most outdoor use including heavy walking gun sports and other heavy wear situations. These Hunter Balmoral wellington is not suitable for riding a horse due to health and safety reasons
Specific care of your Hunter Balmoral Wellington Boots
Store your Hunter Balmorals wellies out of direct sunlight. Make sure that you wash you Balmoral wellington boots with clean water after use and brush off any soil that is attached to the boot. The Hunter Balmoral wellington is suitable for beating etc however it is prone to thorns scratching or ripping the rubber which is the same with all rubber wellington boots. If you have experienced problems similar to this then please select a leather wellington boot as these will be much more resitant to thorns etc than the Balmoral wellington
WARNING
There is a greater risk of slipping with increased sole wear. Exposure to solvents, oils and animal fats can swell the rubber and increase the risk of slipping. Hunter boots contain natural rubber latex, which some people may be allergic to.
