Welly warmers or boot liners are probably the most important item to consider when buying a pair of wellington boots. Most wellies have a very thin cotton lining inside the boot and a thin innersole that gives some cushioning inside. This is a very practical solution as the boot is easy to dry if water should come over the top of the boot. However this can make the boot uncomforatble and cold if it is worn for long periods of time. The best way to overcome this problem is to use a boot liner or welly warmer. The warmer is pulled on to the foot like a vey large soc and then the foot and sock are pushed in to the boot. Fold the top of the warmer over the top of the welly boot and this will stop the liner from sliding down the boot. The liner adds cushioning to the sole of the boot and will keep feet nice and warm.
